After installing Vista's SP2 this morning I was presented with the following error when starting the 8.5 client:

"IBM Lotus Notes: notes2.exe - Bad Image : C:\Program Files\IBM\Lotus\Notes\nnoteswc.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program again using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or the software vendor for support."

I looked at the nnoteswc.dll file and found the length to be 0 KB. I have another computer with 8.5 and found the file length there to be 52 KB. I copied the larger one to the computer with the zero length file and notes started fine.
